Gender Reveal

Updated: Dec 10, 2018

We are having a little....

I CANT EVEN BELIEVE WE WILL HAVE TWO LITTLE BOYS LESS THEN 2 YEARS A PART!

I'm just envisioning all the football games, fun times on the golf course and all the dinosaurs that will fill our house!

Now to answer the elephant in the room:

Are you disappointed that your not having a little girl?

Absolutely not! My husband and I would have loved to have a little girl to experience a different side to parenthood, so a little girl would have definitely been loved. However, the more I think about life with two little boys so close in age, it actually makes me more excited. I just know Lyric and this baby boy will be the best of friends. Maybe the next one will be a little girl... ;)

I told my mom when I first found out I was pregnant with Lyric (before I knew he was a little boy) that I had a feeling I was meant to be a boy mom for life. So far so true!

My mom did such an amazing job at planning this little babes gender reveal! I was absolutely blown away and so glad we decided to do it! Here are a few details from the party!

Okay, now the question everyones been asking me..

Did the gender prediction kit really work?

YES!!!!!!! GenderSense was 100% accurate with the gender of our baby. We confirmed it with a genetic blood test from the doctors office to make sure and it did not disappoint. I would HIGHLY recommend this test if you want to know the gender of your baby early on in pregnancy, without being invasive and spending a fortune on blood tests.

Heres how it works:

  1. You will get this box in the mail which will contain a little cup, syringe and the gender prediction container along with instructions.

  2. You will collect a urine sample in the little cup they provide with your "first thing in the morning pee"

  3. You take the syringe and collect the urine from the cup, once you gathered 20ml you insert the syringe in the hole which is located on the gender prediction container.

  4. Once the entire 20ml of urine is inserted, you gently swirl the container around mixing everything together. Place on a solid, flat surface and wait 5 minutes!

  5. Your urine will change a color depending on the sex of the baby.

HERE ARE MY RESULTS:

I took a picture of the girl side to show you how the color doesn't match up at all. ITS A BOY!
